I’ve been awakened. Not enlightened, or taken to a new level of consciousness. Yet I have been sleeping when it comes to the adage, ” when opportunity knocks, open the door”. I always thought of this
as common sense, practical advice that anyone could apply to move forward in life. When I began my work with callings, or the intuitive aspect of life purpose, I realized that the soul’s deepest desire to call forth that which is seeking to make itself known is doing the knocking. WE are the door of opportunity- we open ourselves to our calling and receive the divine messages that guide, nurture, support us to claim our deepest life purpose.
If you can see with your two eyes, you can see with your inner eye; if you hear with your ears, you can hear with your inner ears; if you feel with your body you can feel energy around you. Tune into the subtle and not so subtle guidance as it leads you back to yourself, the ultimate fountain of opportunity. Then you will find the door to the outside world open up at the slightest touch and greet you like a long lost friend.
